Grooming Services

My mission is to provide a stress free, calm grooming experience for your pampered pooch.  Before any new groom commences, I will need to have a 10 minute conversation with you to discuss your requirements and get to know your dog.

 

The prices below apply to dogs who are groomed regularly and have a well maintained coat.  For dogs who have additional issues or require extra care (such as matted coats, flea treatments etc), additional charges may apply.  This will be discussed with you up front.

Full Groom

A full groom includes:

  • Double shampoo (first one acts to povide an initial clean and loosen dirt held deep wihin the coat, second shampoo ensures that the coat is 100% cleaned.  

  • Coat appropriate conditioner applied

  • Anal glands emptied (if required)

  • Toe nails trimmed

  • Ears cleaned

  • Blow dry of coat until fully dried

  • Coat trimmed (depending on the type of coat, this will involve using clippers and scissors)

  • Feet and bottom of pads trimmed

Small (ie, toy & most terrier breeds) from $100
Medium (ie, Spaniels, most 'oodle' type dogs) from $110
Medium/Large (ie, larger 'oodle type breeds, border collies) from $120
Large (ie, Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles, Samoyeds) from $160
Extra large from $180

 

Bath, Brush and Tidy

A bath, brush and tidy includes:

  • Double shampoo (first one acts to povide an initial clean and loosen dirt held deep wihin the coat, second shampoo ensures that the coat is 100% cleaned.  

  • Coat appropriate conditioner applied

  • Blow dry of coat until fully dried

  • Trim of sanitary areas and feet.  

Not suitable if de-shed required

Bath Only

Not suitable for dogs that are matted and require a haircut

 

Other services

De-shed service

A de-shed requires specialist products using a three step shampoo conditioner process and requires more time to ensure excess coat is brushed out thoroughly.

Matting:

Dogs with matted coats will need to be viewed before confirming appropriate grooming treatment and prices.  This is because it can depend on the level of matting as to what is most appropriate, safe and comfortable for the dog.  Please note, most cases of coat matting usually require a very short trim (sometimes removal of the coat right down to the skin level).
